Florida or Tanzania?

When Florida and Tanzania appear side by side, it doesn't take a travel boffin to know these countries are pretty different; especially for their natural environments. Both do have fascinating wildlife and beaches, but theme parks are definitely a Florida thing.

So let's start with Florida.

1. Discover the wonder of Disney in Orlando at Walt Disney World.

2. Miami Beach: Unwind on the well-known sandy shores.

3. Everglades National Park: Fly through this amazing distinctive ecology, and spot the alligators, dolphins, manatee and black bear. 

4. See Key West, the southernmost point on the United States mainland (90 miles from Cuba).

5. Universal Pictures Florida: Take in the thrills of Orlando's theme parks.

6. Discover space exploration on the Space Coast at Kennedy Space Center.

7. Naples: Enjoy fine dining and shopping along the Gulf Coast.

8. Tampa Bay Area: Discover parks, museums, and energetic neighborhoods.

9. St. Augustine: Visit the oldest city in the country and lose yourself in its past.

10. Discover Sarasota's art, culture, and stunning beaches along the Gulf Coast.

How about Tanzania?

This east African nation, with its capital Dodoma, hits the top of the "best countries" list by far. Florida it isn't, which may disappoint a few, but let ETG list the reasons to go. 

1. Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, provides breathtaking vistas and strenuous hiking opportunities.

2. Serengeti National Park: Explore a variety of wildlife and see the Great Migration of wildebeest.

5. One of the biggest game reserves in Africa, Selous is renowned for its varied wildlife and landscapes.

6. Ngorongoro Crater: This volcanic crater offers a wide variety of ecosystems and a profusion of wildlife.

7. Experience a boat safari and see a variety of wildlife in the Selous Game Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

8. Tarangire National Park is well-known for its varied landscapes and sizable elephant population.

9. Explore the diverse range of bird species and the tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara National Park.

10. Ruaha National Park: Take in the varied flora and fauna of this more secluded safari destination.

11. Mafia Island offers great diving and snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters.

Whichever country you decide for your adventure, it's going to be a good one!
